Blood Pressure Monitoring

High blood pressure is often called the 'silent killer'. We can help you keep track of this with our free blood pressure monitoring service. Come in as often as you like and we can even give you a print out of your results to take to your doctor.

Medicines can be confusing. Our pharmacists are experts in medicines advice, especially when it is a new medicine. We can help get you started with your medicines and even if you've been on them for a while - we'll provide you with printed medicines information - best of all it's FREE!

Scott Street Pharmacy offers a specialised compounding service to meet the unique needs of the Patient under Practitioner referral.

Our Compounding Pharmacists and Technicians are fully trained by PCCA (Professional Compounding Chemists of Australia) and have years of compounding experience in:

• BHRT (Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy), 
• Thyroid Hormones
• Dermatology & Cosmeceuticals, 
• Paediatric (Children's formulations), 
• Pain Management, 
• IVF (Fertility) & Gynaecology, 

• Veterinary.

The Compounding Lab at Scott Street Pharmacy is fully compliant with the Professional Compounding Chemists of Australia (PCCA) Compounding standards. We are audited and inspected by PCCA every two years to give peace of mind to prescribers, patients and pharmacists. All of our preparations meet standards of Quality Assurance for patient safety. We also submit samples to Eagle Analytical for potency tests.

We offer Saliva Testing where you can measure your hormones at home with a saliva test kit from NutriPath Integrative Pathology Services. You can also complete a Hormone evaluation form.  Saliva Tests can capture baseline hormones, adrenal hormones, full cycle hormones, luteal phase hormones and melatonin hormones. The results from these tests are forwarded to the pharmacist. When the pharmacist receives your results, they will liase with your preferred doctor to discuss your treatment options if needed. For compounded products containing hormones, a prescription is required from your doctor.

As part of our services our Compounding Pharmacist will carry out a consultation and risk assessment on all compounded medication before commencement. Compounding

Our staff have specialised training in the fitting of compression garments for over 2 decades.  We offer free fittings and an appointment is not necessary!

Personal fittings do take time so are only available Monday - Friday before 5pm. This is to ensure our highly trained staff can spend quality time with you, ensuring a perfect fit. Your health is our priority.

Diabetes Assistance

Scott Street Pharmacy provides a delivery service to customers within the Toowoomba area - Monday & Friday only.

• This service is available for one pickup and delivery, free of charge once per week. Anything over one delivery per week will incur a $5 delivery fee.
• Delivery of medication, Sleep Apnea products, and hire equipment.

Home Deliveries

When you are on five or more medications, we can do a Medscheck or Diabetes Medscheck service in the pharmacy. The pharmacist will go through all your medications with you and make sure you are confident why you are using them and discuss any question you may have.

For a Home Medication Review, the doctor will write a referral letter and a consultant pharmacist will come your home and do the Medication Review.

We sell DNA test kits at Scott Street Pharmacy.  There are 3 different kits:

myDNA Wellness & Nutrition:
